Dues and Fees are currently the only way we have of generating funds to hire jurors, sponsor artists, give awards and pay for bandwith and server space. Please help support contemporary modern art by joining at one of our membership levels.

Non-Members: may enter any "Open" show at the regular non-member fee unless the fee has been waived.

Fee for open exhibit entries is $15.00 for up to 3 entries.
Additional entries optional at $5.00 each.
(Memberships can be purchased at time of entry.)

Student Members: (Under 21 only) Annual Membership Dues = $20

A Student Membership includes a listing on our Members Page with contact info, link, and artwork thumbnail.
All Student Members may enter any "Open" show at the discounted member fee unless the fee has been waived.

Student Member Fee for open exhibit entries is $10.00 for up to 4 entries.
Additional entries optional at $5.00 each.
All members receive special discounts from the Gallery Store and other exclusive offers.

Adult Members: Annual Membership Dues = $30

An Adult Membership includes a listing on our Members Page with contact info, link, and artwork thumbnail.

Sponsored Artists: (Free Membership)

Sponsored artists are individually selected by the gallery staff based on the quality and presentation of their work. These are artists that we feel deserve to be showcased and therefore each Sponsored Artist is offered their own free gallery full-page within our domain such as "http://awesome_artist.galeriedestijl.com". Sponsored artists will work with the curator to display selected works to be exhibitied and/or offered for sale by the artist on their page with ZERO COMISSION from the gallery. Patrons are free to use the information on the artists' page to contact them directly. (SEE EXAMPLE GALLERY) The Sponsored Artist will be "in residence" for a period of at least 6 months and must provide appropriate, updated work after 3 months. Gallerys may contain up to 9 separate works to be displayed. Sponsorship may or may not be renewed after the residency period expires. Sponsorship takes time, energy and bandwidth from the gallery so selection is carefully limited and may not be renewed simply to offer others a chance at sponsorship. Sponsored Artists are most often chosen from other gallery exhibits or websites.

Sponsored Artist Fee for open exhibit entries is $6.00 for up to 3 entries.

Adjunct Artists: Annual Membership Dues = $50 (Application / Approval required)

Adjunct Artists have taken their membership to the next level and made a commitment to join Galerie de Stijl as an interactive contributor. We review each application and accompanying examples to ensure the work meets the high standards of the gallery. Each Adjunct Artist is listed on our Artists Page and additionally offered their own gallery full-page within our domain such as "http://awesome_artist.galeriedestijl.com". Adjunct artists will work with the curator to display selected works to be exhibitied and/or offered for sale by the artist on their page with ZERO COMISSION from the gallery. Patrons are free to use the information on the artists' page to contact them directly. The Adjunct Artist will be "in residence" for a period of 1 year and each adjunct is responsible for contacting the curator to keep their web gallery current. Gallerys may be updated once a month and may contain up to 9 separate works to be displayed. (SEE EXAMPLE GALLERY)
Adjunct interaction also takes time, energy and bandwidth from the gallery so selection is scrutinized and applications may or may not be approved or renewed as we se fit. Please see our Adjunct Artist Application Page to apply.

By entering any of our membership levels or exhibits the artist agrees to allow Galerie de Stijl to display the entered artwork on our website without limitation or liability. Galerie de Stijl may use the image of the artwork in part or in full solely for promotion of the artist, an exhibition, or the gallery itself. All rights and copyrights remain with the artist. The nature of the internet dictates that Galerie de Stijl cannot offer any assurance that artwork will not be duplicated by outside entities therefore we only display low resolution images in our gallery.
